HOW IT WORKS
Welcome! Whether you’re looking for stunning food photography or capturing unforgettable moments at your event, I’m here to bring your vision to life. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how we’ll work together to ensure a smooth and successful experience from start to finish.
1. Initial Consultation: Let's Get to Know Each Other
The purpose of our consultation is to understand your needs, vision, and project scope. We'll schedule a call or meeting to discuss your project in detail, whether it's food photography or an event shoot. I’ll ask about your specific goals, style preferences, and any key details that will shape the shoot.
Here are some questions that I will ask:
For food photography: What specific dishes or products should I focus on? What mood or style do you want to convey (e.g., rustic, clean, modern)? What’s the intended use of the images (website, menu, social media)?
For event photography: What type of event are you hosting (corporate, activations, wedding, party, etc.)? What moments do you want captured (ceremonies, speeches, candid guest shots)? Are there any VIPs or key people you want highlighted?
After our chat, I’ll send you a proposal with an estimate and timeline for the shoot. If you're ready to proceed, we'll move on to the next steps.
2. Onboarding: Preparation
Once you're ready, we’ll sign a contract outlining the project scope, payment terms, and delivery timeline. A deposit is required to secure your shoot date. We’ll finalize any logistics, whether it's coordinating with a chef for food styling or confirming the event timeline. To tailor the shoot to your needs, I may ask for more specific information or visual references. For food photography, this could mean sharing a menu, images of the dishes, or prop/location preferences. For events, I’ll ask for a guest list, timeline, and any specific moments you’d like captured.
Here are some questions that I will ask:
For food photography: Are there any props or styling elements you'd like to include? Do you have a specific color palette or theme in mind?
For event photography: What moments should I prioritize during the event? Is there a specific look or vibe you want the photos to reflect?
3. The Photoshoot: Bringing Your Vision to Life
On the day(s) of the shoot, I’ll arrive early to set up the necessary equipment and get a feel for the space. For food photography, I’ll work with you (or your chef/stylist) to arrange the dishes, ensuring they are shot in the best light and from the most flattering angles. For event photography, I’ll capture key moments, including candid shots, group photos, and any special highlights like speeches or performances.
4. Post Production: Editing & Delivery of Your Photos
Image Selection & Editing: I’ll carefully select the best images and edit them to enhance color, lighting, and composition. For food photos, I’ll focus on making your dishes look irresistible. For events, I’ll capture the energy and emotions of the day.
Client Review: You’ll receive a proof gallery to review the images. If needed, you can request any changes or additional edits.
Final Delivery: Once everything is finalized, I’ll deliver your images in the agreed format—usually through an online gallery or direct download.
Here are some questions I will ask:
Do you need high-resolution files for print or lower-res images for web/social media? Are there any specific crops or edits you’d like me to make?
5. Wrap-Up & Follow Up
Feedback: I’ll ask for your feedback on the process and the final images so I can continue improving my service.
Final Invoice: Once the project is complete, I’ll send the final invoice (if applicable), along with any remaining images or deliverables.
Stay in Touch: I’ll stay in touch for future work, promotions, and new offerings. I may also request a testimonial or referral if you’re happy with the results!
